Vickie Axsom-Brown, Chief Operating Officer, joined the Centennial Spine and Pain Center in October 2007. Vickie has a wide background that includes Chief Operating Officer and Practice Administrator for the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of NV/US Oncology where she transitioned six (6) individual organizations to function as one and was responsible for all operational activities of 23 Physicians and over 200 employees. Vicki has had additional management responsibilities with Medicus, SC Oncology Associates, PA, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of SC, Lincoln National Corporation, Aetna and other organizations. Vickie has an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Martin Memorial School of Nursing, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina.

Vickie has also been active in various roles with the Governor of South Carolina, South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, South Carolina Medical Manager's Board. She is also a member of Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare management Association, American Association of Ambulatory Surgery Center-Past Membership Chair, American Academy of Medical Administrators, National Managed Health Care Congress, National Health Lawyer's Association and National Women's Who's Who of Business.
