Patient Referral

Centennial Medical Practice

As many of our patients can attest, chronic pain not only takes a major physical toll but also economic, mental, emotional and a spiritual toll. It is necessary to address all of these aspects of pain management to achieve positive long-term results. We address all of these aspects while treating the whole patient and not just the pain symptoms. This is key to positive long-term results for the patient. This comprehensive approach to the treatment of the patient allows us to provide a specially tailored treatment regimen for each patient allowing them to achieve optimal long-term results that improves their quality of life.

We provide our treatment plans by working closely with other Board Certified Physicians and experts in the community who have a special interest in the management of acute and chronic pain. These experts include:

  • Neurosurgeons
  • Orthopedic Surgeons
  • Neurologists
  • Psychologists
  • Psychiatrists
  • Physical and Rehabilitation Physicians
  • Occupational and Physical Therapists
  • Chiropractic Physicians
  • Social Workers
  • Other Health-Care Providers

Our experienced staff is dedicated to providing timely reports from our paperless internal record keeping system and maintaining open lines of communications via phone, e-mail or fax with our referring partners.

We strongly urge our patients to take an active role in their own treatment. We do not simply tell our patients what to do but encourage them to become actively involved in the medical decision process. We invite their questions and discuss the treatment options with them. This is extremely important as we can not be with our patients during every hour of the day. We strongly believe in sharing our medical knowledge with them so that they develop a full understanding of their medical condition which will help manage their condition on a daily basis.

  • Medication: Our staff is highly trained in the use of all medicationsin treatment of pain. World Health Organization and American Board of Pain Physicians recommendations are followed. While we always try to incorporate non-narcotic medications and do not believe that Opoids should be the sole treatment used only for pain treatment, we may be required to utilize Opioid medications in order to control some patients' extreme pain.
  • Communication: Being acutely aware that Spanish is the primary language of a substantial portion of the population of Southern Nevada, we have made and continue to make a concerted effort to provide experienced staff that speaks fluent Spanish which is essential not only to communicate with patient and/or their family, but to ensure that they all fully understand type(s) of procedure(s) that will take place and what is necessary patient's post surgical care.
  • Surveys: Our Board Certified Pain Management Physicians believe Surveys are a venue to objectively evaluate our Goal. Recent patient survey supports not only that our unique and conservative approach to pain management our patient's best interest in mind but also has proven to be both cost-effective and results in a high degree of patient satisfaction.
