Sacroiliac Joint Steroid Injection


 

Numbing medicine is injected into the joint, and the amount of pain relief experienced will help confirm or deny the joint as a pain source. Also, time-release cortisone is injected into the joint to reduce inflammation, which on many occasions can provide long-term pain relief.

  • Recovery time: Minimal recovery time and if successful this procedure may be repeated up to 3 times per year.
