An Interspinous Process (ISP) device is an implant placed in the spine to treat spinal stenosis. Once placed, the device provides spinal stability and decompression of the desired treatment level. This results in improvements in leg pain, leg weakness, and low back/buttock pain.

ISP placement is a minimally invasive surgical procedure.

Under image guidance, a small incision is made at the desired treatment level.

Insert ISP

Implant is placed at this level.

Evaluate Placement

ISP location and degree of decompression is confirmed.

Wound Closure

Surgical site closed by the physician.
